Oak Hill, OH  - The Oak Hill Festival of Flags, the festival held in the Southeast Ohio town bearing its name, sponsored The ALL-AMERICAN CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS on May 26, over Memorial Day weekend.  13 teams consisting of 6 local Oak Hill teams and 7 area teams from as far away as Walton, West Virginia competed for a chance at the victory crown.  When the last toss was thrown, the top 3 teams were all from out-of-town.  From Delaware, OH, team “Delaware”, Bobby Brown and Shane Andrews, took home $250 with first place, Chillicothe’s Rex Uhrig led “PYB” to second place and $150, while third place and $100 purse went to “Git-R-Done” consisting of brothers Dennis and Merle Earrison, also from Chillicothe.  The top 5 teams also won Commerative Tournament T-shirts.  Worth noting, was West Virginia’s Wildest, consisting of Anthony Hodgkinson and his grandmother Fran Naylor were that team from Walton, West Virginia.  Anthony was going to graduate from high school the next day, May 27, and the All-American Cornhole Tournament was Fran’s graduation present to here grandson and way to spend the day together.  We look forward to seeing everyone back next year for the 2nd Annual Tournament.
