Thank you to all you helped make the 2011 Festival of Flags a Success!
Festival of Flags Program for 2011

Since its inception in 1993, just what has the Festival done for the community? 

• The Festival itself has become a true “homecoming” event that attracts alumni and former residents alike.
• The Festival celebrates patriotism, family and friends – true American values.
• The Festival charges no admission and has brought first class entertainment to the community.  2011 will feature Elvis Tribute Artist Dwight Icenhower and legendary 60’s band, Rick K and the All Nighters.
• Aside from the event itself the Festival sponsors, the “Lighting of the Trees” along RT. 93.  The Festival organized individual donors for each memorial tree and pays the monthly electric bill.
• The Festival regularly sponsors two to three summer/fall concerts in the park.
• The annual Halloween Parade of Masks is sponsored by the Festival with assistance from the Oak Hill Chamber of Commerce and the Oak Hill Nazarene Church.
• The Festival is involved and supports the Beautify Oak Hill Committee which includes the Oak Hill Mural Project.
